The Department of Law at Al-Hadba University College was established in 1996 and works to spread legal culture and prepare a legally educated generation. The Iraqi society has supplied large numbers of bachelor’s degree holders, and a number of them today hold higher degrees from reputable universities and occupy various positions in the state.

To raise the scientific level of students and consolidate the correct understanding of legal sciences, build and develop human capacities (professor - employee - student) and qualify them for excellence and creativity, striving to keep pace with development and modernity in the field of legal studies to advance the reality of scientific research for the department.

Whoever graduates from the department works as a jurist in departments, and he is also entitled to practice law and join the Higher Institute of the Judiciary
